Terms and Conditions of Zuchthof Klatte

Semen must be ordered by 10:00 a.m.!

All of the stallions presented in this catalogue are used either in natural breeding or through insemination at Zuchthof Klatte. The stallions may be viewed by appointment.

The insemination station at Zuchthof Klatte is approved for all of Germany as well as the European Community.

Stud fees are final prices and include VAT. They are due before the first breeding/insemination. The shipment of semen will be billed to the mare owner separately by the forwarding agent for issuing the health certificate we charge 20 Euro per semen delivery into foreign country.

STUD FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE FOR SHIPMENT OF SEMEN!

When ordering semen, the following information must be given:
· Stallion desired
· Name and complete address of the mare owner
· Breeding Verband to be informed of the insemination
· Exact shipping address
· Information on the mare (life number, name, pedigree, age)

Stables are available for guest mares and there are sufficient pastures. The boarding rate is 10.00 EUROS per day/mare. Boarding is at the owner's risk; however, the stallion owner is liable for damage caused by willful or gross negligence on his part or the part of his employees or assistants. A charge of 15.00 EUROS will be made for each follicle control examination.
The breeding season is limited from February 1st to August 15th, 2010. If a mare has not come in foal by this time, she can be covered/inseminated again in the following season (provided the stallion is still available)*. Re-insemination in the following season is only free of charge for mares re-inseminated by April 15th and for which a veterinary certificate stating that the mare is not in foal has been presented. 50 % of the stud fee for the new season will be charged for mares not in foal that are re-inseminated after April 15th. The same applies if the mare is switched.
Health services are provided by the station's veterinarian, Dr. Janetzko, who is present at Zuchthof Klatte on a daily basis (except Sundays and holidays) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Zuchthof Klatte does not give a guarantee for insemination that takes place off the station's premises.
The mare owner accepts these Terms & Conditions when the mare is booked.

Place of performance and venue is Lastrup/Cloppenburg, Germany.
We ask that the stable rest period between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. is observed. On Sundays and holidays our stables are only open between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
