Standstill is nothing less than a step backward and in 2010 we are committed to this motto more than ever before. The more than 500-year tradition of breeding horses in Klein Roscharden has always been marked by the desire to produce the best results. In the last decades of the 20th century, it was jumper sires, above all Grannus and Argentinus, that made the name Klatte famous the world over. We now conclude the first decade of the 21st century with a wide spectrum of top sires for both equestrian disciplines. A great leap forward was made with Dr. Doolittle's breakthrough in international Grand Prix and Farewell III's sensational third place in the Final of the Nürnberg Burg Pokal, which he finished as Germany's best breeding stallion, crowning a successful sport season for the stallions in Klein Roscharden. For us it is confirmation and, at the same time, an incentive to see that our young sires eagerly follow in the footsteps of their sires, achieving outstanding results at their stallion performance tests and meeting our high expectations. All the more so because in 2010, for the second time in a row, the current main premium winner Cornet's Prinz will be in our stallion stables.
All the best wishes, The Klatte family |
